Fifth Delivery from MKE to Strengthen the Blue Homeland: DENİZHAN Now Installed on MİLGEM-8

Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi Inc. (MKE) has successfully completed the fifth delivery of DENİZHAN, its domestically developed 76/62 mm naval gun system designed to enhance the surface firepower of the Turkish Naval Forces.

Following deliveries to the MİLGEM-6 and MİLGEM-7 ships, the system produced for MİLGEM-8 has also been successfully delivered, bringing the total number of DENİZHAN systems integrated into the Turkish Navy’s inventory to five.

Featuring a high localization rate, integration capability with modern combat management systems, low radar signature cupola design, and multi-role capability, DENİZHAN offers effective solutions in surface warfare, air defense, and naval gunfire support missions.

DENİZHAN – Key Features:

    •         Caliber: 76/62 mm

    •         Rate of Fire: 10/20/40/60 and up to 80 rounds per minute

    •         Range: ~16 km (with standard ammunition)

    •         Localization Rate: Over 85%

    •         Platform Compatibility: MİLGEM-class ships, Coast Guard Ships (ADKG), and other naval platforms

Designed and manufactured entirely with national resources, DENİZHAN not only strengthens the striking power of the Turkish Naval Forces but also enhances the global competitiveness of Türkiye’s defense industry through potential exports to allied and friendly nations.

With the successful fifth delivery of DENİZHAN, one of the flagship projects of Turkish engineering, another layer of strength has been added to the defense of the Blue Homeland.
