IDEF, the International Defence Industry Fair, is one of the world’s foremost events in the defense sector. Held biennially in Türkiye and organized by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, the fair has been a premier platform for defense industry innovation and collaboration since its inception in 1993. The event showcases cutting-edge technologies, including land, air, and naval systems, military equipment, security devices, weapons, ammunition, and defense electronics.

IDEF brings together defense industry leaders, military personnel, experts, government officials, media, academics, and NGOs to discuss and explore partnership opportunities. Supported by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence and the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye’s Secretariat of Defence Industries, the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center from July 22 to 27, 2025, organized by KFA Fairs Organization Inc.
